Hi everyone! I have had a bit of a hiatus on here, but I have been working on some spring and summer related projects that I can't wait to share with you guys over the next few weeks. Until then I am going to enjoy the air warming up and appreciate all this rain getting the gardens prepared for growing season.

Last year my boyfriend and I started the year off by moving out of a small apartment into our first home. We were faced with so many projects to make this place our own, and once spring arrived the one I was most excited about was making my own vegetable garden. The idea of growing my own food fascinated me. At that point in my life the only food I had ever grown was a propagated tomato plant, and I only ended up with 3 tomatoes on that plant! I wouldn't say that counts, even though it was better than nothing.

When it comes to cosmetics the majority of the girls I grew up with (including myself) started with those value pack bundles that come out around Christmas time in all the department stores. You know the ones I mean. For $20 you get all the goods. Every colour of eyeshadow, all those blushes, lipsticks and nail polishes. Some even came with those little sponge brushes. When I grew up they were basically every preteen girl's beauty starter pack.
